Overcoming Boundaries

The premise of this design is to highlight the physical boundaries that were established around Brisbane in the mid-1800s (Boundary St in Spring Hill, Boundary St in West End, Vulture St in South Brisbane and Wellington Rd in Woolloongabba). The history of the boundaries is quite dark, and steeped in travesty and tragedy.
It’s important to take the time on occasions to reflect on our past to help ensure that we don’t make similar mistakes in the future.
This is not intended to be a political statement but rather a look back at the past and reflect upon our growth as a nation and the ever expanding multiculturalism that we all enjoy today.
