Delivered by Urban Smart Projects for the City of Melton in partnership with Powercor and Woodlea, the Community Power Street Art project called on Melbourne artists to create artworks for Powercor substation boxes located across the new Woodlea property development in Rockbank. Four artists, Kenz Kritpan, Elizabeth Hooker, Blake Pool and ‘Frosk’ submitted winning designs for the substations. Artist Kenz was excited by the opportunity to experiment with the idea of ‘community power’, and benefitted from mentoring by artist Daniel Worth from Urban Smart Projects.
