Yacht Race

The inspiration for "Yacht Race" was the Brisbane to Gladstone yacht race which is run annually starting in Mortern Bay. I have grown up watching it and it is part of Queensland's rich history. We live near the bay and witness the start of the race each year. Also the ocean, beaches and bays are very important to the people of Queensland to enjoy, protect and use. The colours in the design come from the Queensland 150years logo representing different aspects of the state.
