Bronte Robertson

Bronte's Suburban Traffic Box

Front - The bus shows how public transport is encouraged and used in the area - especially for school children. The tree shows the environment and surroundings of the area. The lemon and lemonade represent the history in a way of lemonade stalls which children delighted in. The newly sold house and house agent show that there are plenty of new houses in the area. Finally the school children crossing the zebra crossing shows that there is a new school with plenty of happy children filling it. It shows how the future is in their hands.
Right side - shows the kind of area it is. It is also a pretty and colourful design from a birds eye.
Back - Old people and young people being tied together and joined which is very special. The rainbow snake is a representation of Australia's creatures and critters. This could also be taken as the 'rainbow serpent' from the Aboriginal dreamtime creation. The word 'belong' in the centre represents the welcoming nature of the Australian people. Kids and hearts represent love and 'mateship' that most Australians radiate.
Left - Represents the gum trees around the area and Australia.
