The design represents a vibrant city in the sun and on the water - with both being such key parts that they permeate the city itself. The colours used are those represented in the official imagery of Brisbane city and reproduced on Brisbane buses, city cats etc: blue, white, green and gold. The rays that fan from the cityscape represent a bright future and ongoing celebration of the city.
