The design of the box takes its inspiration from the names of the intersecting streets:
The tartan pattern is the tartan of the Campbells of Argyll in Scotland after whom the street was supposedly named by Lachlan Macquarie.
The bear and billet elements come from the county coat of arms of Warwickshire, UK - Warwick St was so named because it was the home town of Surveyor-General of Tasmania, George William Evans. However the bear and billet symbol has never struck me as very nice, so in this design the bear is free of its chain. This also reflects Hobart
