Grow, Share & Live Together

Our world exists and functions on a global as well as a community level. This painting presents key Oxfam ideals within the context of Mt. Gravatt, which is identified by its Aboriginal name "Kaggur-Mabul" - "Place of the Echidna". The central image features a magnificent Moreton Bay Fig tree-trunk emerging from the globe of our world. Students traverse the site at Mt. Gravatt TAFE, tending to their education and future. An inspirational poem aims to promote peaceful and creative consideration of how we interact with each other and the environment.
