This box is in honour of the traditional owners of this land. It is a tribute to my ancestors the Nughie people of Minjerribah, Quandamooka, which on a clear day can be seen from beaches all along the Gold Coast. It is a reminder to tourists that this concrete city is placed on land that has a rich cultural heritage.
