This artwork was designed by students from St James College. These students, were studying a unit in SOSE called 'Walkabout.' In this unit the students learnt about Brisbane history and culture through walking tours of the city. The design 'Jimmies' is a symbolic representation of St James College and Fortitude Valley itself. The college is extremely multicultural and has strong principals of reconciliation and diversity. The students' design is supposed to be a reflection of such diversity. The side panels of the box is painted in the school colours. The other sides of the box reflect the school's diverse nature and reconciliation.
