Strawberry Moon

This design is based on an artwork by Natalie Brown aka 'Nattybones' called "Strawberry Moon". It is a piece that evolved organically over several years, which aims to demonstrate that life is an evolutionary process whereby all things contribute to the whole and to the state of all, and nothing (the Om). Through its depiction of symbolism representing different aspects of both good and bad, life and death, the piece aims to draw the viewer into the acceptance of the impermanence of all things, and that nothing is either good or bad, but balance is the way to inner peace. Skye Leong and Natalie Brown worked as a team to recreate it with the addition of other symbols which reflected Skye's Chinese heritage, such as the Yin Yang symbol.
